Joaquin Martinez Navarrete (1920 - 1990) born in Morelia Michoacan is a Mexican painter famous for his watercolors.
He began studying painting at the Celaya School of Plastic Arts. In 1940 she obtained a scholarship to study at the San Carlos Academy.
He was a disciple of Pastor Velázquez, Luis Sahagún and Francisco Goitia. He exhibited during his lifetime in Peru, Colombia, Spain, France, Japan, Canada, the United States. and Mexico.
