Born in 1954 in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Senini completed his undergraduate fine art degree at the University of Victoria specialising in sculpture. He went on to complete his Masters in Fine Art at the University of Calgary, Alberta. His sculptures feature in 19 prominent collections including the University of Victoria’s permanent collection and the Art Gallery of Alberta’s permanent collection.

Senini has taught sculpture , lectured and has held a studio practice for over 40 years and is professor emeritus of the sculpture department at the Alberta College of Art and Design. He travels extensively throughout Canada, The United States, Mexico and Europe and has visited Mpumalanga several times, in recent years.
