Plastic artist from Yucatan, with more than 40 years of experience. He has participated in 15 individual exhibitions and more than 120 collective exhibitions, as well as outstanding participations in the Florence Biennale (2009), L’Exposition d’Art SIAC Marseille (2011), among others.

She was director of the art association "NOSOTROS ARTE CONTEMPORÁNEO" from 2004 to 2013. In 2016 she received an award from the Ministry of Education of the government of the state of Yucatán for her outstanding contribution to the cultural field in the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the State Center of Fine Arts. She is the director of her own art studio “S.Nikolai” open in Mérida, Yucatán since 1994.
