Bada Mx, the argentinian art fair where you buy directly from the artist
National | 30 ENE 2020 Por Redacción

At the beginning of February of this year, “Bada Mx” will arrive in the capital, a fair that originated in Argentina and that this year will have its first edition in Mexico during Art Week 2020, where you can buy directly from the artists, who will be selling all types of work such as painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, engraving and more.

Bada was founded 8 years ago by its general director Ana Spinetto who, during a recent press conference, declared that the objective of the fair is to break the stigma that art is unattainable and only accessible to an elite group. The strategy that Bada uses to end this myth is to give artists a space where they can sell all the work they can carry with the condition that there are at least 10 pieces that do not exceed $2 thousand pesos. In addition, the fair eliminates the presence of an intermediary, allowing artists to sell their work at a more affordable price to the public.

Of the 100 artists who will be participating in the fair, Carlos Vargas Pons, Bruno Fourure, Jimena Schlaepfer, Ane Alfeiran, Antonio Fink, Manolo Garibay, Alina Muressan, Giselle Fenig, José Guerrero Champy and Ane Alfeiran will be present.

In addition to the art sales stands, the fair will have a number of activities, including a tribute exhibition to Rafael Cauduro for his 70th birthday in which pieces from his private collection and never-before-seen works will be displayed. .

Bada will be held from February 6 to 9 at Campo Marte (CDMX) and admission will cost $200 general and $130 students.
