Last Wednesday, December 11, we had our launch event, where we were able to present our community for art collectors for the first time to different guests including artists, curators, entrepreneurs and other art enthusiasts.
The event started with an introduction by our founders, Blanca A. Pérez Montalvo and Ricardo Ponce Gutiérrez, who talked about how the idea of creating a platform for art collectors arose, and their ultimate goal of wanting to contribute to the artistic-cultural growth of the region. In addition to this, the introduction was accompanied by a mention of the services and functions that Hartii will perform by the content manager, Brenda Carrión.
After the presentation, we had brief interventions from 2 collectors and 1 artist about their experiences in the field of collecting in Mexico. These interventions were carried out by the collector and honorary consul of Holland, José Gutiérrez López, the collector and founding director of Capillas Señoriales, Andrés Aguilar, and the renowned international artist, Alfredo Romero. Finally, the event closed with a raffle for a signed giclée of one of the works of the artist Alonso Gutiérrez, valued at $350USD.
During the event, there was also an art exhibition made up of pieces from a Hartii member collector. Among the works on display were pieces by artists Gerda Gruber, Alfredo Romero, Alonso Gutiérrez, Rómulo Rozo and Alben.
We thank Capillas Señoriales México for being our host collector for this event.
