The AI arrives at a Dalí museum
International | 23 ABR 2024 Por Redacción

Much is said about how AI cannot replace art, nor should they interact with each other, there is so much controversy around the idea of a coexistence between AI and art that it even seems that you can't talk about it without demonizing it.

However, AI is a great tool that can coexist with art without transgressing the past, present and future of it. Fortunately, a museum found a wonderful way to implement AI in its exhibition.

The "Ask Dalí" experience allows the public to speak (in English) with Dalí through his work "Lobster Phone". Artificial Intelligence replicates Dalí's personality, voice and accent and thanks to the data with which they created it, it can lead entire conversations as if it were the artist.

This is not the first time that AI helps create unique experiences at The Dalí Museum (St. Petersburg, Florida), the museum managers continue to seek and provide innovative ways for their audience to experience the art of Catalan and not stop enjoying visiting the museum, this is one of the wishes left by the founding couple of the collection, who in life were not only great fans of Dalí, they also knew him.
